RECRUITING AND TRAINING
THE NEXT GENERATION OF
RECRUITING AND TRAINING FUTURE CAMPAIGN CONSULTANTS
Partners can earn $75,600 or more annually directing the campaigns of future political leaders while experiencing the exciting and rewarding world of campaigns.
The program kicks off with a training session led by Ballot America’s campaign consulting veterans where partners will learn key skills in networking, business management and marketing their political skills.
PARTICIPATE IN THE FUTURE
Your participation will help ensure that we have the skilled campaign vendors to win in 2020 and beyond.
Talent lives in every zip code, but opportunity and access do not. Your participation also ensures that Democrats are able to extend our reach in all parts of the country.
THE RUN DOWN
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for campaign operatives who are resilient, courageous, hustle, and joy, and are excited about the prospect of consulting on the campaigns of future political leaders. No need to be a political science expert, however, we do ask that you have at least one campaign cycle under your belt.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You will learn and use the skills of campaign consultants: candidate prospecting, cultivating positive political relationships, how to properly craft and utilize campaign contracts, and use the newest data and digital tools to maximize your efforts.
WHERE WE’RE TRAINING YOU
Ballot America Partners will be performing initial training remotely via web conferencing to save our partners on the travel expenses (you’ll understand why we’ve chosen this format once you’re in the training). Additional training will be conducted in several U.S. cities during the summer of 2019 (additional and ongoing training details and cities are to be announced months in advance).
HOW DO YOU APPLY
The application is straightforward: share your resume, write a brief summary about yourself and why you want to become a partner, and three campaign-related references.
The deadline for priority consideration is Monday, March 18, 2019. The regular decision deadline is Monday, April 8, 2019. Partners will be admitted on a rolling basis and are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
People of color, people with disabilities, women, and LGBTQ candidates are encouraged to apply.
